How do you play Shnookums?

When was the last time you sat down and really got to know the people around you on a deeper level?

Shnookums is designed to bring people closer together through a series of questions that force players to talk about topics that aren't discussed often.

Starting with the first level, each player takes turns asking and answering questions from the deck. Players must ask and answer at least 3 questions before progressing to the next level.

Players take turns drawing cards, and whoever draws gets to ask the question to any player of choice. The player who answers the question gets to draw the next card. Oldest player starts the game!

Level 1 - Discovery

This level is about discovering new things on a surface level that you might have never known about the other player(s).

Level 2 - Dig Deeper

This level is all about digging deeper into more difficult questions and truly getting to understand the person across from you in a way that not many others do.

Level 3 - Connection

The final level is all about connecting on an even deeper level through questions that are rarely asked between players.

SO GOOD!!

Played this with my new boyfriend the other night, it made us both realise how much we have to learn about each other, but it definitely made us closer and ask some things we might not have thought to ask otherwise. Probs gonna get some expansion packs too!!

THIS GAME CHANGED MY LIFE.

This literally created so many core memories. I played this game and I fell in love with my soulmate. I played this game and I found out deep shit about people that I barely knew (and since then, I really care for them and have deep respect for them). I played this game with my best friends, and also discovered deep stuff, also created even stronger relationships. Wtf. (Family is french so forget about translating them this game is too good) This game is for everyone who wants to be real and open with the world (=and so with yourself also). This game is hard but is so worth it.

FUN AND EFFECTIVE! =P

Introduced to it by my friend, and decided to buy it when I started dating my girlfriend. We draw a card or two each day and it’s lead to some fun hats, insightful conversations, and occasionally pulls out some info or thoughts we needed to share.

UNCOMFORTABLE, BUT GOOD

It leads to some difficult conversations, and maybe some things you do not want to deal with, but at the end of the day it does help. Just be prepared that you might not like the answers you get back, but that doesn’t mean they’re not what you need to hear

I haven't played the card game many times yet. But it's an amazing conversation starter. At the same time, it doesn't feel forced or overly spiritual. It's just a very refreshingly raw and honest way of talking to each other. Recommend, recommend!!
